Apply for Queens University Scholarship Registration date for 2022
This is to inform the general public that the Queen’s university scholarship registration has been scheduled to commence on the 23rd of January 2021 and end on the 8th of March 2021.
The registration date for the Queens University Scholarship is scheduled to commence on January 23, 2021, and end on March 8, 2021.
The registration period will run for two months. This means that you must register in advance if you wish to be considered for this scholarship.
To apply for this scholarship scheme, applicants must be studying full-time at Queen’s University or permanent residents of Kingston (who have lived here continuously since birth).

The scholarship scheme will be awarded to students who are studying at Queen’s University or are permanent residents of Kingston.
The scholarship scheme is only available to students who are studying at Queen’s University.

Queens University Scholarship Entrance Requirements
To be eligible for the Queens University Scholarship, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be a full-time student at Queen’s University or a permanent resident of Kingston. You cannot apply if you are not currently enrolled in a degree program or have been previously suspended from your studies.
- Have a minimum GPA (Grade Point Average) of 3.5 in a 4-point system or equivalent; this includes all transcripts including transfer credits from other institutions such as OCAD Art School and York College that may have been awarded towards your GPA calculation over time after graduation from high school/secondary school, etc.

Before applying for Queen’s University Scholarship, ensure you meet the following criteria:
- You must be studying at Queen’s University in Canada.
- Scholarships are only available for full-time students (including part-time).
- Have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 in a 4-point system, or equivalent
Applicants must be studying at Queen’s University in Canada
You must be a student at Queen’s University in Canada.
You must have been accepted into a graduate program at Queen’s University.
You must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person (i.e., refugee claimant).
You must be a full-time student in your final year of study who is studying towards an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) or Faculty of Engineering & Applied Science (EAS).
Scholarships are only available for full-time students
You are eligible for this scholarship if you are a full-time student at Queens University. If you are part-time and looking to study, we recommend that you apply for another scholarship instead.

The GPA is the average of your grades in all your courses. It’s calculated by dividing the number of grade points you have earned by the number of credits you have taken.
The GPA is a measure of academic performance and is used to determine eligibility for scholarships.
Candidates should be admitted to a graduate program at Queen’s University
- If you are currently enrolled at a Canadian university, or if your home institution has an exchange program with Queen’s University, then you are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
- Candidates must be admitted to a graduate program at Queen’s University. Applications received from individuals who have not yet been accepted into any graduate programs will not be considered for this scholarship.
- All applicants must be studying full-time at Queen’s University in Canada during their study term (Winter/Spring Semester) in which they wish to apply for funding.*
The benefit of Studying at Queen’s University
The Queen’s University Graduate Scholarship is open to students who are studying at Queen’s University or permanent residents of Kingston. Candidates must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 in a 4-point system, or equivalent, and demonstrate financial need through their application form.
Students who apply for this scholarship must also be admitted to a graduate program at Queen’s University and have completed at least six credits during their undergraduate studies by the time they apply for the scholarship; those applying after completing their postgraduate work may be considered if there are special circumstances such as employment obligations or extenuating circumstances preventing them from attending classes regularly.
