This is to inform the general public that the Queen’s university scholarship registration has been scheduled to commence on the 23rd of January 2021 and end on the 8th of March 2021.

The registration date for the Queens University Scholarship is scheduled to commence on January 23, 2021, and end on March 8, 2021.

The registration period will run for two months. This means that you must register in advance if you wish to be considered for this scholarship.

To apply for this scholarship scheme, applicants must be studying full-time at Queen’s University or permanent residents of Kingston (who have lived here continuously since birth).

Queens University Scholarship Entrance Requirements

To be eligible for the Queens University Scholarship, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a full-time student at Queen’s University or a permanent resident of Kingston. You cannot apply if you are not currently enrolled in a degree program or have been previously suspended from your studies.
  • Have a minimum GPA (Grade Point Average) of 3.5 in a 4-point system or equivalent; this includes all transcripts including transfer credits from other institutions such as OCAD Art School and York College that may have been awarded towards your GPA calculation over time after graduation from high school/secondary school, etc.

  • Candidates must be admitted to a graduate program at Queen’s University. Applications received from individuals who have not yet been accepted into any graduate programs will not be considered for this scholarship.
  • All applicants must be studying full-time at Queen’s University in Canada during their study term (Winter/Spring Semester) in which they wish to apply for funding.*

The Queen’s University Graduate Scholarship is open to students who are studying at Queen’s University or permanent residents of Kingston. Candidates must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 in a 4-point system, or equivalent, and demonstrate financial need through their application form.

Students who apply for this scholarship must also be admitted to a graduate program at Queen’s University and have completed at least six credits during their undergraduate studies by the time they apply for the scholarship; those applying after completing their postgraduate work may be considered if there are special circumstances such as employment obligations or extenuating circumstances preventing them from attending classes regularly.
